3. Data Collection on This Website

This website is hosted as a static site on Codefloe Pages (codefloe.com), operated by devXY GmbH, Neuhofstrasse 3c, 6340 Baar, Switzerland. The servers are located in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

With every request, the hosting provider automatically stores the following data in server log files:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version and operating system (user agent)
  • Date and time of the request

This processing serves the security and availability of the service and the prevention of abuse; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The log files are deleted from the server after 30 days; the provider keeps encrypted backup copies for longer according to its own retention periods. This data is not merged with other data sources. 4. Contact by email

If you send me an email, I use your details only to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (requests about a possible assignment) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (other requests). I delete the emails once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply. There is no contact form on this website.

5. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to rectification, blocking, or deletion of this data. You may contact us at the address given in the imprint at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of personal data.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

This website uses no cookies. If you switch the language yourself, your browser remembers that choice (localStorage, entry “gm-lang”) so the home page does not redirect you again. This is technically necessary, contains no personal data and never leaves your device. Without a choice of your own, the home page follows your browser’s language setting.

7. External Content

This website does not load any content from third parties. Links to other websites, for example to my project pages, are only opened when you click them. The privacy notices of the respective site apply there. This also applies to the Buy Me a Coffee link.

8. Fonts

The typefaces Hanken Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono (SIL Open Font License) are served from the same server as this website. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.

9. Analytics and Advertising

This website does not use any analytics tools or advertising trackers.

10. Supervisory Authority

Accessibility

This website should work well for everyone, including people using a screen reader, only a keyboard or strong magnification. It follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What has been done

  • Everything can be operated with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
  • A skip link leads straight to the content; headings and regions are properly marked up.
  • Text has sufficient contrast, in light and dark mode.
  • The radio dial is a labelled slider and the selected station is announced. All projects are also listed as a normal list on the page.
  • Animations stop when your system is set to “reduce motion”.
  • The page works without JavaScript and at 200% zoom.
  • Every page declares its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.

Self-assessed on 23 October 2026 with keyboard and automated checks (axe-core, contrast measurement). Linked project sites are reviewed separately.
