Your podcast, from idea to feed.
You bring the topic and the voice. I take care of everything in between: format, recording, editing, sound and publishing. For the first episode and every one after.
At a glance
Gerber.Media is Dirk Gerber’s one-person studio on the island of Als in Denmark. It produces podcasts for other people from format to finished feed. Guests record through a browser link without installing anything, every voice gets its own clean track, episodes are mastered to −16 LUFS, and transcription runs locally, so recordings never leave the studio. Productions in German and English.
Four channels, one signal
Every production runs through the same chain. You decide how much of it you want to do yourself.
Format
Name, length, rhythm, intro. Together we work out what makes the show unmistakable, before the first microphone is switched on.
Recording
On site on Als or remote. Guests join through a browser link, no installation. Each voice is recorded locally as its own clean track.
Editing & sound
Pauses, levels, music. Mastered to −16 LUFS, the loudness platforms expect. It sounds like a conversation, not a phone call.
Publishing
Feed, chapters, show notes and transcript. Ready for the usual podcast apps and searchable on the web.
In-house tool
Produced with TalkCraft
TalkCraft is my own studio software for conversations: multitrack recording, guests via browser, editing by text, loudness, chapters and export. Transcription runs on my computer, not in someone else’s cloud.

Questions from the studio
What does a production include?
Format, recording, editing, sound and publishing. You can book the whole chain or only parts of it, for example editing and sound for recordings you made yourself.
Do my guests need to install anything?
No. They open a link in the browser, allow the microphone and talk. Their voice is recorded on their own device as a separate track and then sent to the studio, so a shaky connection doesn’t ruin the sound.
Where does my audio go?
It stays in the studio. Transcription runs locally on my computer, without a cloud service. The finished episode goes only where you want it published.
Which languages do you produce in?
German and English.
